Nobody is Perfect
When I wrote my last post I had it in my head that I was going to make a bunch of good choices that I could continue to tell everyone about and everyone would be so proud. But guess what? I am not perfect. Wednesday I ate a cheese quesadilla, Thursday was a cheesy burrito, Friday was another day eating out. But guess what? I am not perfect. Some of the good things I did included riding my bike, pla u in at thrvv. Tomorrow is a new day to make better choices!

Beginning to find a better me!!
Before I start finding a better me, I better explain who I am. My name is Laura. I am 33 years old and I have been married to my husband for over 11 years. I have 3 wonderful children. All 4 of these people will play a key part in finding a better me. I am currently a nursing instructor and I love it. Being able to see the excitement in my students eyes when they get closer to being a nurse, is what brings me true joy in my life.
One of my biggest flaws right now is my weight and my motivation to loose it. I am 6 feet tall and I weigh 270 pounds..Eeeeeek.... I am a Dr. Pepper addict and I love food. Especially carbs. I eat out way to much!! One thing that is going good for me in this area is that I have started going on daily bike rides. They have not been long, but in the two weeks I have been doing this I have already noticed my lungs are having an easier time, my blood pressure is more normal, and my pulse has decreased.
Some of the areas I will work on during my quest to a better me is helping with a healthier family, being a better mother, house cleaning and organizing, being a better wife, financial stability, and finding time for me. Tomorrow I will post a picture that shows where I am starting from and what I did then.
